Distribusuite Updates 6-10-09

Added new updates:

1.       Added new report programs for Open Orders, Back Orders, Open Purchase Orders, Purchase Order History, Vendor Invoices , and Vendor Invoice History.  All work like Sales Analysis where you can build the reports and save them if you choose.  NEW NOTE, we have been asked to added ordering capabilities in, they are scheduled.

2.       Sales Analysis, added ability to export to excel.

3.       Added quotes and ability to update a quote to an order.

4.       Added in logo’s per warehouse.  This will allow custom logos to print on each order coming from different warehouses.

5.       Added order class to Quickbooks sync.

6.       Added ability for Item notes to be set to print on Order receipt, Picking slips, Packing Slips, Invoices, Quotes, and Purchase Orders.

7.       Added ability to select an option to allow Order receipts to print at the end of the order for internal use.  Without this option checked nothing prints at the end of order.  Pick slips are printed in Pick list print.

8.       Added BOM print for items that a Bill of Material has been setup.

9.       Added advanced Inventory Inquiry.  Still in beta.

10.   Added Vendor Cross reference to allow Vendor numbers to print on PO’s.

11.   Added Vendor Invoice sync to Quickbooks.

12.   Added permissions to control who has access to programs.

Legalsuite updates 6-10-09

New features:

1.       Added email to Contractor/Affiliate at work order print stage.

Fixes:

1.       My orders has a blank info panel come up when you close your browser and reenter.

2.       The automatic billing is not working for CC accounts, failed never saw it in CC company.

3.        G/L accounts are wrong on CSE print, should be the Cash one and receivables.

4.        With Proof Form Reprint or Open Orders, Go to Close Order tab of a work order and click on Proof Code search icon. The window grays out but the popup proof search window doesn’t appear.

5.        Autobill, is not charging the fees and fees advanced.

6.       Due diligence option now prints ALL status updates on proofs.

7.       Minor print issues.

New Features:

1.       Added advanced calendars, month view, week view, and day view.

2.       Sorting by event type on calendars

3.       Sharing of contacts between other users.

4.       Managers can “impersonate” other users to see contacts, schedule, etc.

5.       Added document management.  For contacts and a light version of FileItsuite for electronic filing of other documents.  You can create any groups you like.

6.       Emails, meetings, documents, everything is tracked for the contacts.

7.       Added popup (ajax) reminders for meetings, events.

8.       Ability to add more contacts into meetings.

9.       Ability to email confirmation for meetings to contacts.

10.   Added power search, ability to search calendar, events, etc.

Fixes:                                        

1.       Info panel after sending email. 

2.       Font style was stripped when sending emails.

3.       Fixed pager in group detail.

11.   When viewing groups, we need a button to add a contact.

13.   Custom area will have better control.  Ability to create login for customers to pull and comment on documents like quotes.

14.   Metrics in control panel.

a.       Number of users, number of contacts each user has, number of logins over a period by user.   Hmm more thought here.  As an admin I would like to see how much my sales staff is interacting with contacts.  Follow ups, open items, etc..  And print everything to pdf.

Legalsuite updates 4-07-09

We have prepared a list changes in the latest version. Here is a list of changes in the current version:

1. First and most important we have continued to update the help section and video tutorials. Find them here: http://help.matrixlegalsuite.com.
2. Updated the Proof of Service search to be easier to use. We have updated this on the customer portal as well for your customers.
3. Fixed the pager in Attempt codes / Status updates..
4. Fixed the way Copy orders are auto assigned to employees and contractors..
5. Continued to add in PDF Proof of Service forms and Subpoenas.
6. Finished updating the accounting / Invoicing section. Many new abilities have been added.
7. Fixed issues with auto emailers goign to customers with status udpates and new orders.
8. Fixed a bug in the Credit card auto bill program.
9. Added in Time zones.
10. Added two new programs, one allows you to import orders from your customers data and the second auto emails contacts their status updates nightly for ALL their orders.

Next version we promise to have billing by statement, weekly, and monthly and credit holds completed.

Updates 3-13-09

On March 13th, 2009 there was a new release of DistribuSuite. We have added many new features and continuesd to upgrade the accounting portion. Please review upgrade list:

Order Method
1. We have added 2 new order methods in Company setup. Order receipt, which works best for ManufactureSuite. This prints an order receipt at the end of the order entry. The picklists will now be available in Picklist print. If you do not use this settings, the Picklist prints at the end of order entry.

2. Invoice only. This bypasses the picking slip and packing slip. Direct to invoice.

Picklist Print
1. Picklists will go to new program Picklist print when not printed at end of order.

Credit Holds
1. If a customer in CMM is set on the Credit tab as Always fail, for credit check they will be placed on credit hold. This is identified during your order entry process, or anywhere the AR panel shows, in red below the total they owe. When the order completes an info panel displays stating the order has been palced on hold. This also happens if they are over their limit and the "check" option is turned on in CMM. If the option is set to always pass, it will not check. The info panel will notify you of the Credit manager for that account (provided you set it in CMM).

2. Credit Holds can be released under Accounting, Accounts receivable, Credit Hold release. This will place the order in Picklist print.

Order Maintenance
1. You can reprint the order receipt in Order maintenance.

Bill Of Ladings
1. Bill of lading snow display the shiping information when printing. Reminder they need to be setup in BOL maintenance. They print in order confirmation with the packing slip.

2. A token page has been created under Settings to display what fields can be filled in. More feilds can be added as requested.

Item Documents
1. In Item master mainteance, we have added a tab for documents, this section allows you to upload any document you need to print with the Oder receipt. For example a TDS, or a build sheet.

Bill Of Materials
1. A new program has been added under Inventory called Bill of Materials Maintenance. This allows you to build your products and set costs. Adjusting costs will adjust the costs in all each warehouse if you select it to do so. A BOM sheet will print with the order receipt during order entry. A barcode prints at the bottom of the sheet to help you track order order process. Consider this a beta release of BOM, we are still testing and would like to add a few features.

Order confirmation
1. The QTY box in OC has been widened.

Invoice Maintenance
1. Invoice Maint now allows the sipping and taxes to be altered. We do not allow the product to be changed yet.

Incomplete Orders (soon to be Quotes)
1. Added ability to seelect many and clean out incomplete orders.

Tracking Number Maintenance
1. Added new program tracking number maint. This allows you to modify the tracking numbers.

Sales History Report
1. Changed sales history report to fix sales number in the LYMTD and LYTD columns

Vendor Invoices
1. Added ability to enter vendor invoices (only received items for now), into the system. They then sync with Quickbooks to be paid.

Open Vendor Invoices
1. Added report for open vendor invoices. Beta.

Quickbooks
1. Vendor invoices are now synced with Quickbooks.

Invoice - Print
1. Changed invoice date to be more accurate.

2. Added ability to select an invocie date when printing invoices. So you can back date invoices.

Updates 1-22-09

Invoices

1. We have added shipping terms to the invoice.

Purchase Orders

1. Added line item notes to Purchase Orders.
2. Added taxable flag.

Order Inquiry

1. Added directions in the page to make more clear.
2. Link goes to Order maintenance.
3. Rollover click goes to shipment information.

Bill of Ladings

1. BOL's are filling in data from order.

Bill of Materials

1. Bill of materials has been tested for ManufactureSuite and is now live.

Inventory Master Maint

1. Added link to BOM when customer is using ManufactureSuite.

Warehouse Pricing

1. Added link to BOM when customer is using ManufactureSuite.

Sales Reports

1.Updated costs in sales reports.

Quickbooks

1. Added summary for data interation with Quickbooks.
2. Added Freight to the GL Mapping program, it now posts to Quickbooks GL.

Cash Receipts Entry

1. Enlarged Cash Text box

!. Added payment cancel. Will set AR back to the way it was.

Order Entry

1. Enabled discount group. When placing an order you can modifiy the base discount group (set in customer mater maint) and the order will recalculate.

Invoice Maintenance

1. Added invoice maintenance. Allows invoice modification until the invoice is posted. Under accounting.

The 2 biggest items we are working to complete in the next few weeks are integration from Purchasing / Enter Bills/ to Quickbooks and a Bill Of Material Price update program. This will allow updating of item pricing to update all products using that item.

Updates 11-24-08

On Nov 24, 2008 there was a new release of DistribuSuite. We have addressed some minor issues in the accounting sections, administration area, and a few billing options. We have upgraded the demo site as well as your customer location. Please review upgrade list:

1. Purchase order receiving, multiple lots/locations.
2. Open purchase orer report
3. Purchase Order maint (fixed bug with $ flag).
4. Credit card billing in accounts receivable. This allows you to bill the credit card directly in ARI, when viewing open invoices. Automatically posts a payment to cash receipts. Compliments auto billing.
5. Accounts receivable now has a payment tab with a lsit of payments on it, click to view which invoices were paid with that tab.
6. Bill of Ladings are printing automatically but not auto filling data. Must be configured in BOL Maint. Only applies to new orders. Allows filling in and editing during order confirmation.
7. MSDS print during order confirmation. Requires MSDS upload in Item Master Maint.
8. Both can be turned off during order confirmation.
9. Added in 2 new sales reports in Sales Analysis. Product Line History and Product line detail.

Updates 12-19-08

Packing Slips

1. We added an option in the Company (not customer) setup screen to zero the declared value on Packing slips.  So new packing slips should print zero.

Purchase Orders

1. Extra PO number (now reference number) is not required.
2. Date wanted prints on the PO.
3. Entered by and contact both print.
4. Tested Global PO note to make sure it prints at the bottom of Purchase orders.

Order and Invoice Maintenance

1. Order maint allows changing of Open Orders only.
2. Invoice maint was added to the accounting menu.  This allows changing the price on an Invoice.  You can also delete line items.  It does not allow adding new items or changing QTY yet.  We have to get some inventory items worked out first.  We still have a few bugs we are testing.  But it is close.

Bill of Ladings

1. BOL’s are printing again. 

Bill of Materials

1. We are almost ready to start testing the BOM program. 90% We expect to have it running by next week.

Sales Reports

1. Added search criteria to the Item sales reports. For example if you search for 1 customer/1 item it will display this on the report.
